Challenge
As a local preschool, VPK, before and after school care provider, Bayside Discovery Center’s core KPI is to enroll students. As one of many preschools in the area, our client relies on digital marketing to help parents find answers as they make important decisions about their child’s future schooling. With algorithms shifting the search intent of keywords, we refocused our efforts on ensuring our content answered the most important questions our client’s target audience asks. As we elevate Bayside’s profile through its website and Google Business Profile (GBP), our client can focus on the day-to-day education of her students.
Solution
Focusing on our core KPI, we began by laying a solid SEO foundation, including updating title tags, meta descriptions, correct schema, and on-page SEO structure.
We researched competitors’ rankings for industry-relevant keywords and built additional pages independently focused on each service area.
Next, we completed a content audit and created a plan to update and optimize out-of-date content. We also looked for keyword gaps in content our client’s competitors are ranking for.
Additionally, we implemented a content amplification strategy designed to earn relevant backlinks and target a local audience.
Results
Over a three-month period, we prioritized the client’s KPI of increasing its organic visibility for potential customers within its service area. By updating the navigation page and blog post content to match shifting SERPs, we earned back important keywords and increased our client’s opportunities to appear in relevant searches. We continue to drive relevant traffic to the client’s website and GBP through consistent content updates and promotion.
